Reaction sa SONA

SONA?? Again? Of course, as usual Pnoy reports all what had happened for one year under his reign. Nothing new was said by the President. It was just a plain report for two hours.

But the report does not jive on what is really happening in our country. Our country is not improving. There is an increasing number of Filipinos who are not satisfied at the President's performance. For me, I don't care who is the president, all I want is that the president MUST do his job well.

He should prioritize the poor, the jobless, and the economy of the Philippines. But I can't see that these are being concentrated. Many protestants are angry in this current situation. A situation wherein there is no concrete change in the economy. No perceived improvement in the country's progress.
I also think that it's not appropriate to wear fancy dresses at the SONA. Like I said, IT IS JUST AN ANNUAL REPORT. Wearing fancy dresses is not good especially if the SONA is just like in the previous years without anything new.

For me it's still the same old government. NO IMPROVEMENT. All we want is for the president to do his job that is appropriate for the situation of the country.. Thanks.. XD

Gutom at Malnutrisyon; Sama sama nating wakasan

Most of the children today are starving, malnourished and underweight. They don't have the energy in going to school and they only want junk foods. Junk foods are just the one which will delay your hunger. It will not give any nutrition needed by our body. Suppsed this is the everyday snacks of children, then everyone will be malnourished.

Eating healthy snacks should be our routine everyday. It will give every nutrient that the body needs. One sandwich will give many nourishment and at the same time, It will fill our stomachs. With these kind of eating routine, every students will be healthy and smart.

Eating vegetables are more important than eating meal alone. Remember, it is your GLOW foods. It gives us vitamins for us to be able to move well. But sadly, many children don't like eating vegetables.

This is the reason why they are always making a new theme for the month of July to get new ideas, new ways to tell every children on how to eat and how to become healthy. That's why it is implemented every year so that it will lessen the number of children stricken by malnourishment and starvation.

Letter to the President

Vacunero, Sto. Domingo
Ilocos Sur
June 26, 2013

Honorable President Aquino,

           Good Afternoon Sir!
I am Vincent James Paragas, a student of Ilocos Sur National high School. I am just an ordinary student today but in the near future, I will have my own family. But how will my future kids get a better education if our quality of education and our facilities are lacking. How much more in the future?
We need to increase the quality of education not the number of school years. We also need more rooms in the increasing number of students each year.
So as the President, may I request you to give more attention in our quality of education for the sake of the next generation.

Respectfully yours,
Vincent James Paragas
